Long-Term Plans by Year Group (Broader Curriculum)
Here at Warren Wood, we have carefully planned out our learning in each year group to be progressive and to offer a breadth of learning opportunities. We base each of our learning units on a key question to inspire thinking.
Though this framework provides us with a clear structure to follow, we firmly believe in a bespoke curriculum which inspires the children across our school in addition to ensuring a cohesive and progressive curriculum. This means that this long-term plan may be carefully adapted at points when opportunities arise based upon the interests of our children or local/national/world events. In being more flexible in this way, we make sure not to miss out on making the most of golden opportunities when they arise!
