Writing

At Warren Wood, we encourage our children to be puposeful, creative and effective writers.  We know that strong skills in reading, speaking and listening really help us to develop our writing skills.  We also use lots of drama to help us to develop our ideas and understanding.

We learn all about the grammar and punctuation that is used in English, and we know how we can use this knowledge to help us to be better readers and writers. We learn to write neatly and fluently, using our phonics, spelling rules and other resources to help us to spell words correctly. 

We are passionate about our writing and love to share it with others.
